Los Llanos de Aridane Self-Guided Detective Murder Mystery Game

The trail in Los Llanos de Aridane opens on the Plaza de España, in front of the town hall and under the big trees on the square, with the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios on the far side. From there it moves out into the surrounding streets. It is a self-guided murder mystery game, and the town centre is where all of it plays out.

Los Llanos de Aridane is a small town and the centre is walkable in any direction, so this is an easy outing for families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and it can be done alone. The case is the murder of Balthasar. Codes have to be broken, photographs taken at particular spots and digital characters questioned, and the statements they give do not fit together neatly. Around the Benahoarita Archaeological Museum and in the Parque Antonio Gómez Felipe, each solved puzzle removes a name from the list.
